My Personal Metopia

I am a newly licensed cosmetologist, Three years to be exact. My prior profession was a certified medical assistant. My inability to move further in my career due to poor decision making when I was younger prompted me to change my profession and take the steps to do what my heart has always desired, hair. At a young age I knew I wanted to style hair however my life decisions drove me in a different direction until the time was right. At the young age of 40, I went to cosmetology school and completed the requirements needed to become a licensed stylist.

I knew I wanted to own my own shop and cultivate products that will help women all over the world care for their hair. Currently I have a small shop that I would like to expand and I am currently creating hair care products that I currently sell and use on my clients hair. My main focus is hair care and my products are geared towards how well the hair absorbs and retains moisture.  Showing people how to care for their hair between stylist appointments is part of my mission. I want to show my clients that our hair can grow beyond the limits of our thoughts with love and consistency.

I don’t just want to style your hair I want to care for your hair as well.
